Manchester United put Pedro and Muller on their top Target list

Manchester United have listed Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller and Barcelona's Pedro as their targets as they go in search of a new striker

After allowing Robin Van Persie and Radamel Falcao leave this summer, Louis Van Gaal now needs reinforcements in his striking force to be able to compete in the next premier league campaign.

United only have Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez and James Wilson as recognized strikers in their team which we see as not enough for the club.

Barcelona's forward Pedro has fallen behind (MSN) Messi Neymar Suarez in the pecking order and may decide to leave the team.

With Chelsea and Arsenal also on his tail, United could face a strong battle for the Spaniards signature should he become available this summer.

Bayern's star Muller is also on United's Target list, with united's manager Louis Van Gaal having worked with him during his time at Bayern, he admires the quality of the  striker and desires to have him in his team.

United have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer bringing in Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.
