Rumours have it that Wenger is on the lookout for a new striker, with Real Madrid's Karim Benzema in their radar, but the FrenchMan is unconcerned with first team competition.
Giroud openly admits that a new forward competition would be welcomed by him this summer.
The French man managed 14 goals in 27 premier league appearance last campaign, but some sports media have doubts if he's the man to drive Wenger's team for title challenge.
"If there is a new striker, it will be nice for all the team, because competition is good for everyone." He told reporters.
