Chelsea have finally completed the signing of Augsburg defender Baba Rahman to boost their defensive option.
Augsburg's website claimed that Chelsea reportedly paid £14 million for the Ghanian defender.
A picture of Baba Rahman has finally emerged showing the player holding up a ‘Chelsea 17′ shirt after his completed move to Stamford Bridge.
The young defender was signed as a competition to Cesar Azpilicueta for the left back position, and as a replacement for Filipe Luis who has just returned to his old club Atletico Madrid.
Baba Rahman had a fantastic one year spell at Augsburg, helping them reach the club's best ever finishing position (5th) and gifting them European football.
The reigning premier League Champions Chelsea had already started their 2015/2016 campaign on a weak note, losing 3-0 to Manchester City on Sunday after a 2-2 draw against Swansea in the opening week.
