Arsenal are still keeping the hope of signing Karim Benzema alive, as AS reported on their front page this Sunday morning that Arsenal are working towards signing the Frenchman before the transfer window Closes.
AS also claim to have an inside knowledge about the Gunners being ready to splash €65m from their transfer budget to make the deal go through.
So will Arsenal get their man?
AS also claims that the North London side had made the Frenchman their priority signing and that the manager Arsene Wenger is “aware of the difficulties of the operation”.
Arsenal fans are now being convinced by the turn out of events at Emirates, as AS are also made to believe too that since Arsenal have handful of French players in their squad and a former Real Madrid team mate Mesut Ozil in Emirates, the Benzema deal could be done this summer.
