Many unanswered questions and suspicions came up when Victor Valdes was left out of Manchester Uniteds squad for US tour, but the Manager has cleared the Air in a press conference ahead of their first game, but he rather blasted Valdes and ignored Rafeal.
The outspoken manager made the reasons for the Spanish Goalie's omission known, he stated that the Goal Kerper refused to play for the reserve team last season, therefore he no longer fancy him around Old Trafford and he further illustrated that he doesn't suit his philosophy.
Valdes is behind his fellow country man De Gea in Old Trafford pecking order and only made his Debut when De Gea was struck by injury towards the end of last season.
Van Gaal Clearly said the keeper will be shown the Exit door and he also made reference about Rafeal, he said Matteo was brought in to ensure competition for Valencia in the right back position. When asked about Rafeal, he said "i need a right back who can actually defend"
I think he is just ruthless.
