Manchester United are preparing a Bid for Spur shot stopper Hugo Lloris

According to French reports, Manchester United are to bid for Tottenham’s highly rated stopper Hugo Lloris once David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid materialises.

French daily L’Equipe believe a concrete offer will be made “very soon” by Manchester United, with the Red Devils looking to replace their Spanish keeper quickly.

The 28 year old former Lyon keeper is expected to leave White Hart Lane this summer after three seasons at the club.

Hugo Lloris has spoken recently of his desire to play Champions League football – something he has not yet managed to do at Tottenham.

The captain of the France national team has been heavily linked with Manchester United for some time and the Reds appear ready to pounce once the David De Gea situation is resolved.

Despite others struggling around him, Lloris has built a reputation as one of the best goalkeepers in the world during his time at Tottenham.
