Man City take lead in Pogba race

There has been a fair bit of talk from Manchester City about how they needed to improve after last season. Bringing in Paul Pogba from Juventus wouldn't exactly be a bad start to that process.

A report in the Sun says City are "close to winning the £60 million battle" for the France international,
once of Manchester United, and claims boss Manuel Pellegrini feels he has seen off competition from United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

According to the Sun, Manchester City now lead the race for France international Paul Pogba.
It adds that City are hopeful a deal for the 22-year-old star can be tied up before they make another attempt to pry Raheem Sterling from Liverpool. Bear this in mind, though: Only a few days ago, Juventus managing director Giuseppe Marotta said Pogba had told the club he would not be leaving in the summer.
