Leading off with a rumour that may have serious legs. Arsene Wenger and Arsenal are reportedly already in talks with Porto regarding the future ofJackson Martinez. The Express say that the Gunners are ready to trigger a £24.7 million release clause in the striker's contract and beat Liverpool to the punch for the Colombian's services next season.
This isn't the first time that Wenger has gone after Martinez, and this time around the 21-goal-scorer is considered to potentially be one of the final pieces in the puzzle for Arsenal to make a legitimate charge at the 2015-16 Premier League title.
Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa said they want to keep Martinez, but admits they are powerless to stop him leaving if he agrees to a deal with a party willing to pay the release.
