Adnan januzaj needs more playing time to improve - Marc Wimots

Adnan Januzaj was one of the very few people at Manchester United who actually enjoyed last season. The young Belgian attacker impressed under David Moyes and was given repeated chances to show what he can do. Last season Januzaj started 15 Premier League games, he may have expected more this time around but so far he's only managed 7 starts and there's only one game left.

The change in fortunes has been huge. Last season saw countries fight to get januzaj to represent them and manchester Untied fret over whether he'd sign a new contract or leave... with all the great clubs of Europe linked with a swoop for the youngster. He went to the World Cup with Belgium and Januzaj's star was on the rise, this season was meant to see more progression.
Louis van Gaal hasn't given januzaj as many chances as Moyes did and the youngster has struggled to impress when he has been on the pitch. The lack of playing has cost him his place in the Belgian squad and manager Marc Wilmots has told Januzaj to find a new club.
Wilmots was quoted by Voetbal Nieuws as saying "Lately Januzaj has been given few opportunities at Manchester United. Januzaj must now find a team where he can play games."
That's to the point. Januzaj has been linked with moves to several teams both in the premier League and further afield. A transfer would probably be a loan with Manchester United not wanting to cut ties with the very talented 20 year old. Wilmots being so blunt and saying Januzaj must find a new team perhaps sheds light on an impending move.
