Some harsh quotes about RealMadrid super star Cristiano Ronaldo have been flying around the internet and its attributed to his ex-teammate Gonzalo Higuain.
I'm not sure if he really was the Author of the Quotes but Don Balon magazine claims he said so in an interview the Argentine Forward granted them.
According to Don Balon, the Napoli striker claimed not have any fond memories of his time together with Ronaldo at Bernabeu. The Argentine striker left RealMadrid for Napoli in 2013 and has said to his pals he doesn't have to pass to Cr7 every time. He made claims of Ronaldo being disgruntled at training if he fails to pass to him.
He further told Don Balon: “He has a huge ego. If you do not tell him he’s the best, you are not his friend. Cristiano is believed to be the best but he’s overrated. I shared a dressing room with Messi and they are nothing like with each other.”
I personally think these are some harsh stuff to say, and Napoli tried to deny it immediately. Napoli has released a statement cali,img the interview never took place, and all the quotes were fabricated lies. It reads:‘The company denies alleged interview Higuain in “Don Balon”.
About the alleged statements attributed to Gonzalo Higuain and reported by the magazine “Don Balon”, Napoli and striker blue categorically deny ever has he been granted an interview with “Don Balon”.
Therefore the sentences attributed to Higuain are considered false and without any foundation.’
Will Higuain go along with Napoli's claim? Or will he stick with Don Balon? His side of the story will be the final Decision. And we are looking forward to see how Ronaldo will react to these quotes.
