Sunderland now have the chance of seeing taking Adnan Januzaj on loan if Manchester United succeed in completing the signing Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona.
Sunderland have been trying to take the Belgian on loan for a while now, but they seem to have seen their chances improved.
The 20-year old is seen as a future prospect but the current competition in the premier league seems to be too big for him especially with the calibre of players trooping into Manchester United.
Januzaj has failed to keep up to the form he set for himself since he broke into the team under David Moyes, he brought himself to lime light in an away game against Sunderland in the stadium of light, scoring his first two senior goals. His recent decline in form has failed to earn him a place in Van Gaals squad.
