Manchester City battling Manchester United for Barcelona star Pedro

Reports from Mundo Deportivo on Thursday morning shows that the two Manchester clubs are in a big money battle to sign the Barcelona want away star Pedro.

The story from Mundo Deportivo revealed that Manchester City have tabled a better deal for Pedro than what their Old Trafford rivals submitted.

Meanwhile it has been reported that Barcelona have received a written offer from the Red Devils worth €25m up-front and an additional €5m in incentives, but Manchester City have only stated a VERBAL offer to the Spanish side which is worth €30m plus €2m in add-ons.

To make things a bit worst for United, Mundo Deportivo has also said Chelsea have an interest in signing Pedro, but the Londoners are yet to place their cards or make any bid.

MD confirm that The Red Devils are favourites for Pedro Rodriguez as the player has agreed VERBAL agreement with them.
