Keoman tells Manchester United: we won't sell anymore player

Ronald Koeman has sent warning signal to Louis Van Gaal and Manchester United on Saido Mane interest.

Mane featured in Southampton Euripa League game on thursday night against Midtjylland, in which they fought hard to earn a 1-1 draw in the play-off first round leg and Koeman is  certain that Southampton will hold on to their key man Mane.

Mane's name has sprung up as United's latest target after they lost out on Pedro Rodriguez who chose Chelsea instead of Manchester United.

Keoman was of the opinion that Manchester United are playing coy by leaking their interest to try and unsettle Mane, but he insisted “We don't have to sell anymore player. That is very clear. Nobody is going away from Southampton."

“We have to deal with the rumours about and maybe (they are) from Manchester – I don't know because there is no contact and no bid."

“I spoke to Sadio and I will speak to everybody. We have to deal with those rumours.”

Koeman seems not to be confident of of his side's Europa League hopes after being held to a 1-1 draw by the Danish champions.

Keoman added “A 1-1 draw at home is not the best result. We are not favourites any more but we will fight next week. We still have possibilities to win and go on in the Europa League.”

Surprisingly, the crucial away goal was scored by a southampton product, that stat could hurt them at the end of this tie.

Tim Sparv, was a midfielder who came through southampton academy and was team mates to Gareth Bale, Adam Lallana and Theo walcott during his youth days at southampton.

The Saints was lucky to have pulled level in the 55th minute thanks to Jay Rodriguez's spot kick, Kian Hansen brought down James Ward-prowse in the box and Jay Rodriguez did well to slot it in from the spot, scoring his first goal in 17months after a serious knee injury.

Southampton looked the better side as they dominated the rest of the game but the couldn't grab a winner.
