Ashley Young agrees new Manchester United deal

Reports from ESPN on Tuesday claims that Ashley Young has agreed a new deal and will pen new 3-year Man United contract by the end of the week.

The 30-year-old English player has entered into the final phase of his current United deal, from his £16 million transfer to Old Trafford from Aston Villa in 2011.

Ashley Young came back to form and returned to starting eleven under Louis Van Gaal last season, if the contract holds, it would be a reward to him.

The midfielder put in a solid performance in last premier league, he came to lime light when he scored and laid two assists in a 4-1 win against Manchester City in the last season Manchester derby.

Young featured in a total of 26 premier league matches last season making 23 starts and scored twice.

Young got married to his life long partner Nicky Pike, a few weeks ago, should the new contract go through, it'll complete a happy summer for Young.
