Angry Lionel Messi head-butt and throat grab Roma's Yanga-Mbiwa ; theyboth deserve Red Cards

Lionel Messi and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa had a fall out yesterday which resulted in the Argentine head butting and throat grabbing the Roma Defender in their 3-0 friendly win in Joan Gamper Trophy match, the incident resulted to yellow cards for both players on Wednesday.

The reason for the provocation is yet to be known but the incident occurred in the 34th minute. The defender must have said or done something to provoke the Argentine. Yanga-Mbiwa appeared to have made the first move or what we call first touch in local wrestling while Messi retaliated with a head butt and reached for the defender's throat.

The Spanish referee Estrada Fernandez could have easily shown them red cards each but both of them only got away with just yellow cards to their names.

Seven minutes after the clash, Messi increased their lead to a 2-0 advantage after Neymar's 26th minute goal.

Ivan Rakitic buried the Romans with his 66th minutes strike from a long range taking the goal tally to 3-0.
