Manchester United have been more on the spending side this summer, having spent over £78m and still looking to spend more, Rooney is full of praise with the United's transfer activity this summer.
The skipper has heaped praises on the new Manchester United acquisitions, but more of the praise went to the German international Schweinstiger, " he's an experienced player, he has won everything, he speaks good English too, so thats a boost".
The Red Devils made huge signings this summer, with the arrival of two "Sch" midfielders Schweinstiger and Schneiderlin seen as the major spending project.
Both joined Memphis Depay right full back Darmian Matteo taking United's spendings this summer over £78m.
Rooney believes the acquisitions will fill the gaps in the Red Devils Squad, and thinks they now have a better chance to challenge Chelsea for the title next campaign. The four signings have all joined United in US for their pre season tour.
United skipper Rooney believes the new additions are just what Van Gaal's side needed and believes they will give the Reds every chance in their quest to win trophies again, after ending the last two seasons empty-handed.
