Manchester United have reached an agreement with Bayern to sign Bastian Schweinstiger

Manchester United announced that they have made an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign Bastian Schweinsteiger on a fee of £14 million, subject to a medical and personal terms.



A German media Bild broke the news last night, which caused a wave of confusion and white noise on social media this morning, however United have now decided to break their silence and confirm that a deal was struck. They later posted a picture of the schweini kissing the world Cup to show that they are signing a world champion


United also tweeted some great stats that the midfielder will become the first ever German player to wear the famous Manchester United shirt, which is amazing when you consider the profile of German players at other English clubs in recent years.
