Deal done: Manchester United announce the signing of Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero

Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Argentina number one Sergio Romero. The Announcement was made in the early hours of Monday Morning via their twitter feed.

With De Gea heavily linked with Real Madrid and more speculations on Valdes, it comes as no surprise that the Old Trafford out fit have signed a new Shot stopper.
De Gea had just one more season with Manchester United and seems keen on joining Real Madrid, and Valdes appears not to be in good terms with the Red Devils boss for his refusal to play a reserve team match last campaign.

The Argentine number one joined from Sampdoria after seeing out his contract, however the keeper was once Van Gaal's player at AZ Alkamaar. Thou his an experienced keeper, it seems he's signed as Valdes replacement and not De Gea,

Sergio Romero makes it the fifth signing United has made this summer after Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.
