Tottenham will lose £15million if they sell Roberto Soldado to TurkishGiants Galatasaray

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to take a £15million loss on Spanish striker Roberto Soldado after the club opened talks with Turkish outfit Galatasary, according to the Mirror.

Reports in Turkey this week claim that Galatasary are ready to match the former Valencia player’s wages in a bid to lure the once sought after striker to Istanbul, and that the two clubs could agree a fee in the region of £11million.

The 30-year-old was signed from Valencia for £26million in the summer of 2013 but has just scored seven goals in 51 appearances for Spurs.

Galatasary were also alleged to be interested in Roberto Soldado’s Tottenham team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor but the player has insisted he had no news of the move and was keen to stay and fight for his place at White Hart Lane.

It is no secret that Spurs are looking to strengthen their striking options for next season, with West Brom’s Saido Berahino and Monaco starlet Anthony Martial reportedly on Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino’s shortlist of targets during the summer transfer window.
