If Sterling decides to leave, Arsenal are his first choice

With his decision to leave Liverpool now clear, Arsenal are Raheem Sterling’s first choice destination, according to tomorrow’s Star.
The 20-year old attacker has outright rejected Liverpool’s repeated attempts to get him to sign an extension with the club, and it’s now established that his long-term future is away from Anfield.

Whether that’s this summer or next remains to be seen, but Sterling apparently has a preferred club, and it’s Arsenal, the Star claim.
Having grown up in the Wembley area of London, Sterling has an affiliation with the capital city, and is believed to be missing London life.
Sterling spent his formative years at the QPR academy, and has actually only spent three years with Liverpool, when all is said and done.
There are vague reports of interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, but it’s pretty clear that Sterling would prefer to remain in England, and ideally move back to London.
