Sources at Madrid this week categorically revealed that Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti has been contacted by Man City about moving to the Etihad to replace Manuel Pellegrini.
Interestingly, just last week Ancelotti admitted he was unsure if he will sign a new contract to extend his stay at the Bernabeu, however he denied he had spoken to Manchester City about taking over at the Premier League club.
According to our source, Ancelotti has been told by Real that he will be sacked if he doesn’t win La Liga or the Champions League.
