Manchester United has agreed personal terms with Matteo Darmian

Last night he reported that a deal was close between Manchester United and Torino for 25 year old full back Matteo Darmian.

This morning Di Marzio reported that Manchester United had agreed personal terms with the Italian right back with negotiations taking place during the night.

Confirmed sources said, Matteo Darmian will sign a 4 year contract at Old Trafford worth £48k after tax.

Di Marzio also reported that Torino had requested a transfer fee of €18m + €2m in add ons, which Louis van Gaal is expected to agree to very soon.

The Italian international is expected to replace the departing Rafael on the right side of defence to help solve United Right back problem but can also fill in at left back if need be.

However, plenty of other clubs have shown a reported interest in the player including Bayern Munich, Napoli, Lazio and Roma.
