Van Persie Agrees Fenerbahce deal

Sky Sports' Amy lawrence reported on Wednesday night that Fenerbache may have agreed a 4-year deal to sign Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.

She broke the news on Twitter, and cited other “sources” for her Van Persie update.

She added that Fenerbache are hoping to announce the move before the week runs out, however the Turkish Giants still have to agree some personal terms with the Dutch striker.

In addition, it’s reported that Van Persie’s wife was key to getting the deal done, as she visited and agreed to live in Istanbul.

It’s also worth noting that Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio also reported the Van Persie deal was close to completion earlier in the day.

If the rumour proves true, Fenerbache fans are about to explode. One can only imagine what crazy scenes will meet Van Persie if or when he touches down in the Turkish capital.

Sources claims that Robin van Persie will be the highest paid player in Turkey.
