Arsenal join Di Maria race

Sources in North London reports that Arsene Wenger is considering shock move for unsettled Argentine winger Angel Di Maria, whom Red Devils spent a British record £59.7m just last season.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is serious on the Winger having attempted to sign him twice in the past and could try to take advantage situation surrounding Di Maria's uncertain future at Old Trafford.

Thou with some little flashes of brilliance, Di Maria found it difficult to adapt in his first season in England. Fitness issues meant the pace of the Premier League wasn't easy for him, and an attempted burglary at his house in January worsened the issues which had huge effect on his performance.

Wenger is fully aware that such a big transfer won't be easy to go by. Arsenal are already a direct threat to United and the Old Trafford hierarchy will not be keen to fuel their rise any further by handing them a world class player.

The Argentines huge wages and the fact that United won't want to loose out on the huge fee they splashed out only last season could also count against the Gunners.

Should Arsenal get Di Maria, i just can't think but wonder where he would fit in at the Emirates Stadium and who is going to be sacrificed to make space for him.

Santi Cazorla openly denied wanting to leave the club this summer. The 30-year-old Atletico Madrid's target for several months and was among the Gunners' most influential players throughout the 2014/15 season.
