Chelsea to give Petr Cech £4m payoff ahead of Arsenal move

The deal taking Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech to Arsenal is very close to completion.

Arsenal fans will be celebrating the arrival of a top class goalkeeper any day now, with Cech keen to stay in London and Chelsea allowing a legend of the club to receive the move he wants.

Cech has won every major trophy possible at Chelsea and has been arguably the finest goalkeeper in the Blues’ history.

As a result, The Sunday People report that Cech will receive an extraordinary pay-off from Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

According to Neil Moxley, Cech has 12 months left on his current deal at Chelsea and Arsenal will pay £8million for the services of the Czech Republic number one.

Cech will receive a large chunk of the wages left on his contract at Chelsea, plus an extra payment, a good-will gesture from the Chelsea owner, this will total four million pounds.

We can expect Cech to be lauded by Chelsea when his move to Arsenal is confirmed.

Chelsea host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on September 19, 2015.
