Xavi Hernandez was given a standing ovation from entire Camp Nou as he walked off the pitch for his final league appearance today.
The Catalan legend was taken off with just a few minutes remaining, and he kissed and waved to the fans as he made the long walk to the sideline.
By the time he’d reached the bench, it was all too much for him, as he shed a few tears to himself and contemplated the magnitude of the moment.
