Mourinho's new contract worth £42million

The big story on the back pages of several of the British papers on Wednesday centres on Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

Duncan Castles broke the news earlier on Tuesday that Mourinho had agreed a four year contract extension to remain at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

News of the four year deal remains unconfirmed, as neither Chelsea FC nor Mourinho have come out with any announcement on the supposed agreement.

Should the news prove true, Chelsea fans will undoubtedly be delighted.

Days after wrapping up the Premier League title for the first time in five seasons, the Blues could now be embarking of a period of dominance in England and possibly Europe, if the Special One is indeed set to hang around for the long term.

Now more details of the rumoured deal have been splashed on the papers, with the most headline grabbing piece of information being that the Special One is set to earn £42 million out of his new contract.
