Steven Gerard and Frank Lampard were presented with PFA merit award.Legends!!!

Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard both won PFA Merit awards tonight, in recognition of the longevity of their Premier League careers.

Both have become emblems of the Premier League through their careers with Liverpool and Chelsea respectively (and latterly, Manchester City), and both spoke of their pride at landing the gongs.

Both Gerrard and Lampard are set to walk off into the sunset this summer, destination USA to finish out their careers in MLS, so these awards are a fitting send-off.
