The future of David De Gea once again left Manchester United fans worried on Wednesday evening, following an appearance from Guardian journalist Daniel Taylor on MUTV.
Rumours swirled on Twitter that Guardian journalist Daniel Taylor revealed that Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was in contract talks with Real Madrid.
Whilst hugely disappointing for Manchester United fans, they will not be surprised that the De Gea rumours of a move to Real Madrid are not dissipating.
De Gea has one season left on his Manchester United contract, and talks with the club appear to have drifted somewhat.
Iker Casillas does not look like the goalkeeper that led Spain and Real Madrid to so much success, so De Gea to Real Madrid does look likely.
Taylor denied the rumours pretty swiftly on Twitter but there seems little doubt that De Gea’s future at Old Trafford could well dominate football websites in the coming months.
