louis Van Gaal linked with a £30m bid for Lazio's Felipe Anderson{sport start}

The Star on Sunday – a tabloid with little credibility – have gone to print this weekend with news that Man United could be about to lodge a £30m bid for Lazio star Felipe Anderson.
The story feels like another piece of made-up garbage, particularly considering that the 22-year-old Brazilian recently signed a new five-year deal with Lazio.

Indeed, Anderson recently told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it:
What I know about my future is that I will play with Lazio, and I have recently renewed my contract for another five years.
I am focused only on Lazio, I don’t think of anything else. I don’t know of any other offer, my future is at Lazio.
Despite those quotes being readily available in the public domain, the Star still have the gumption on Sunday to raise Man United fans hopes that their club could move for one of the hottest properties in world football.
Anderson was one of the stars of Serie A in 2014-15, as he helped lead Lazio to a third placed finish in the Italian top flight. In 32 games last season, the Brazilian scored 10 goals while notching up 7 assists.
Felipe Anderson has been rewarded with a call up to Brazil’s squad for this summer’s Copa America.
Returning to the Star’s article, the tabloid point out Lazio “are being linked with United striker Robin Van Persie, whose future is in doubt, but there is no suggestion yet of a swap deal – although that situation could change.”
